At Cheek to Cheek Hospital for Animals, we are a privately owned, 3 doctor companion animal hospital, located in the ‘Golden Isles of Georgia’ (St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Sea Island). Our facility is clean, well maintained and equipped with everything needed to provide high quality veterinary care. Our medicine, surgery and dentistry standards paired with our fantastic clientele allow you to practice at the highest level.

*Duties*

* Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnose medical conditions in dogs and cats.
* Perform surgical procedures with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
* Administer treatments such as vaccinations, medications, and therapies tailored to each pet’s needs.
* Handle pets safely using proper restraint techniques, ensuring their comfort and minimizing stress during examinations and procedures.
* Assist with laboratory testing, sample collection, and analysis to support accurate diagnoses.
* Provide pet owners with clear guidance on pet care, nutrition, grooming, and post-treatment instructions.
* Maintain detailed medical records and document all treatments, procedures, and observations accurately.

*Requirements*

* Proven veterinary experience with a strong foundation in veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and anatomy.
* Experience in veterinary critical care settings is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of laboratory procedures and aseptic techniques essential for diagnostic work.
* Ability to perform animal catheterization and manage emergency situations confidently.
* Excellent communication skills for educating pet owners and collaborating with team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $115,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
