Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Physical Therapist position is available to support multiple elementary and charter schools within a school district in Tavares, FL. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide school-based therapy services to students ages consistent with elementary levels, helping to enhance their physical development and academic participation.
Responsibilities:

* Deliver physical therapy services to approximately 100 students across assigned schools
* Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
* Support a caseload distributed among 1-9 schools with two PTs assigned per location for comprehensive coverage
* Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with district guidelines and procedural agreements
* Participate in a district-led onboarding process including credentialing and timesheet management

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

* Valid Professional Physical Therapist license
* School-based experience highly preferred but not required
* Ability to manage caseload efficiently and adapt to potential schedule changes
* Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within a multidisciplinary school environment

Location & Schedule:

* On-site position in Tavares, Florida
* Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (8 hours/day plus 30 minutes unpaid break)
* Contract position starting ASAP through May 29, 2026
