Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based settings. Located in Sioux Falls, SD, the role focuses on supporting PreK through elementary-aged students, including those on an autism caseload. The position is part-time, with 15 hours per week spread over 2 days, providing a balanced schedule and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the unique needs of PreK to elementary students, including those with autism
* Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
* Assess, monitor, and document student progress while adapting interventions as needed
* Foster a supportive, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere to facilitate optimal student development

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

* Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
* Expertise working with children from PreK to elementary age groups
* Prior experience managing autism caseloads is highly preferred
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to supporting educational teams
