Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in Lake Placid, Florida. This contract role offers the unique opportunity to work onsite within a school setting, supporting childrens developmental and educational needs through specialized occupational therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:

* Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in a school environment
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students goals
* Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
* Assess student needs and adjust interventions accordingly
* Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations

Qualifications:

* Current Occupational Therapist license
* Experience working as an OT in a school or pediatric setting preferred
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to engage and motivate children of various ages and abilities
* Familiarity with educational laws and special education practices is an asset
