Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support multiple schools located in Hanahan, SC. This role involves providing direct therapeutic services within educational settings to help students enhance their functional abilities and succeed academically.
Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to students’ individual needs.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
* Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating a supportive learning environment for students.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Valid South Carolina OT or COTA license required.
* Proven experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with educational staff and families.
* Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.

Position Details:

* Location: Schools in Hanahan, South Carolina
* Contract duration: Immediate start through June 2, 2026
* Schedule: 35 hours per week in a school-based setting
