Occupational Therapist Opportunity in Providence, RI Full-Time School Contract
An immediate opening is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support students at a high school site within Providence, RI. This full-time, in-person role offers a contract through mid-2026, serving a dynamic school community and providing essential OT services to enhance student participation and success.
Location:

* Providence, Rhode Island

Responsibilities:

* Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in a public school setting.
* Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
* Assess student needs and adapt interventions to support motor, sensory, and functional skills.
* Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and school regulations.
* Participate in team meetings and provide ongoing progress reports.

Qualifications:

* Licensure meeting Rhode Island state requirements for practicing occupational therapy.
* Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to manage a caseload effectively with attention to individualized treatment plans.
* Commitment to working on-site in an educational environment.

Hours and Contract Details:

* Full-time position with approximately 35 hours per week.
* Contract duration from ASAP start through June 16, 2026.
