Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time, school-based Physical Therapy opportunity is available for the 26/27 school year in Stuart, FL. The role requires a licensed Physical Therapist with pediatric experience, ideally with prior experience working in a school setting. This contract position offers the chance to provide direct on-site support to students, promoting their physical development and functional abilities within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver therapeutic services tailored to pediatric students individual needs.
* Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
* Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to interventions.
* Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights.
* Maintain compliance with school policies and therapy regulations.
Qualifications:
* Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with pediatric experience.
* Prior school-based experience preferred but not mandatory.
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary educational team.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Commitment to student-centered care and advocacy.
