Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years CVOR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A registered nurse with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience is needed for a contract position based in Orlando, FL. This role focuses on providing specialized perioperative nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting in cardiovascular surgical procedures by preparing the OR and equipment
* Monitoring patients’ physiological status throughout the surgery
* Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to ensure optimal patient care
* Maintaining sterile environments and adhering to infection control protocols
* Documenting patient care and surgical details accurately
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
* Current RN licensure in the state of Florida
* Proven experience in a CVOR setting, preferably with pediatric patients
* Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and OR protocols
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
