The Role
Royal Rehab Ryde is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist with strong clinical skills in neurological physiotherapy to join their passionate team. This role involves providing high-quality evidence-based interventions, supervising junior staff and students, and contributing to the development of physiotherapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive neurological physiotherapy interventions both onsite and in the community
Supervise Level 1/2 physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, and students
Maintain evidence-based practice and support clinical education
Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Essential Criteria:
Unrestricted AHPRA registration
Minimum 3 years recent neurological physiotherapy experience, including outpatient/community care
Hydrotherapy experience (competent swimming required)
Experience supervising staff and students, delivering in-service education
Experience working with NDIS funded clients and/or similar compensable schemes
Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills
Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development
Current unrestricted C-class driver’s licence and own vehicle
Desirable:
Experience with robotic exoskeletons (EksoNR), Tyromotion suite, FES devices, or somatosensory technology
Research experience in neurological rehabilitation
