Role Overview
As a Clinical Case Manager, you will:
Undertake telephone and virtual assessments of MSK patients
Analyse patient reports, eForms, medical records, and clinical pathways to provide evidence-based treatment recommendations
Compose accurate reports for referrers and liaise with stakeholders regarding patient care
Maintain high clinical standards while working independently within a remote team
Contribute to service development, audit, and quality initiatives
Key Responsibilities
Conduct virtual MSK assessments and case management
Review clinical submissions from the IPRS network and provide peer review
Produce timely, medically accurate client reports following IPRS standards
Make appropriate onward treatment or referral recommendations
Support internal staff and client queries regarding clinical matters
Maintain KPIs, professional development, and adherence to HCPC standards
Contribute to the development of new clinical initiatives
Requirements
Qualifications:
HCPC-registered Physiotherapist (Essential)
Formal clinical physiotherapy qualification (Essential)
Evidence of ongoing CPD (Essential)
CMSUK membership (Desirable)
Experience:
3+ years of UK postgraduate MSK physiotherapy experience (Essential)
Clinical case management experience (Essential)
Experience using Microsoft Office and online reporting systems (Essential)
Telephonic/video triage experience (Desirable)
Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication (verbal and written)
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Effective time management to meet deadlines
Accurate medico-legal recording and auditing of reports
Strong IT and database proficiency
