Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to provide specialized support within a Regional Day School setting. This role focuses on delivering targeted therapeutic services to students attending the Extended School Year (ESY) program, ensuring continuity of care during the summer months.
Location:
* Regional Day School in Jackson, NJ (onsite only)
Contract Details:
* Duration: July 1st, 2026 through August 12th, 2026
* Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM
* Closed: July 6th
Student Caseload:
* Serving students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade
* Providing services exclusively to students enrolled in ESY
Responsibilities:
* Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
* Implement therapeutic interventions aligned with educational goals
* Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress and participation
* Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
* Ensure compliance with district policies and special education requirements
Qualifications:
* Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based environments
* Familiarity with ESY program protocols and student developmental needs
* Ability to work effectively onsite with students and multidisciplinary teams
* Strong communication skills to coordinate with educators and families
