Job Description

Advanced Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join their team. The PT will assess, plan, and deliver individualized therapy to help patients recover and improve their functional abilities. This role requires a passion for hands-on care, strong patient communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

Provide direct patient care following established protocols and guidelines

Document findings, progress, and instructions for patients and caregivers

Supervise care provided by assistants and rehabilitation technicians

Develop comprehensive plans of care and set goals based on evaluation findings

Implement physical therapy treatments to achieve patient goals

Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance providers

Qualifications

Graduate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program (new graduates welcome)

Current Michigan PT license and CPR certification

Ability or willingness to learn outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation

Ability to work efficiently and independently

Basic computer skills, including EMR systems, database software, and MS Office

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus
