- Perform initial evaluations and establish individualized plans of care with measurable goals
- Deliver skilled treatment: ther-ex, neuromuscular re-ed, manual therapy, therapeutic activities, gait/balance training, and modalities as appropriate
- Progress treatment plans based on objective findings, patient response, and functional goals
- Provide patient education, HEP instruction, self-management strategies, and injury prevention guidance
- Complete timely, accurate documentation (evals, daily notes, progress/re-evals, discharge summaries)
- Ensure appropriate coding/billing, authorizations, and compliance with payer and clinic policies
- Coordinate care and communicate with referring providers and the interdisciplinary team as needed
- Monitor for red flags, maintain a safe treatment environment, and follow clinic safety procedures
- Supervise PTAs/students as applicable and support clinic operations (equipment, flow, patient experience)
