Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students within a school setting in Okemos, MI. This full-time contract position involves working collaboratively alongside another full-time OT to provide specialized care for approximately 40 center-based students with significant needs, ranging in age from 3 to 26 years.
Responsibilities include:

* Delivering occupational therapy services to students across a diverse age range, addressing individual needs.
* Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
* Collaborating with educators, therapists, and families to optimize student outcomes.
* Monitoring and documenting progress to ensure compliance and effective intervention.
* Participating in team meetings to coordinate therapy and educational goals.

Qualifications:

* Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license is required.
* Previous experience working in school settings is highly preferred.
* Certification in Occupational Therapy must be current and valid.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.

Position Details:

* Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week

* Caseload: Center-based students with significant needs, working in collaboration with another full-time OT
