Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available at a school location in Portales, NM, with a contract running from ASAP through May 21, 2026. The position is onsite, providing direct therapy and conducting evaluations for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. Caseloads will be assigned based on your experience and preferences, offering a personalized workload.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students.
* Perform student evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
* Collaborate with educators and staff to support student progress.
* Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and school policies.
Qualifications:
* Active Occupational Therapist certification or license in New Mexico.
* Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to manage caseload efficiently and adapt to varying student needs.

* This role is based onsite in Portales, NM.
