Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Join a dynamic school-based therapy program in Gilroy, CA, as an Occupational Therapist providing in-person services to a diverse student population. This contract position offers the opportunity to support children from preschool through high school across multiple rural school settings, including a regional preschool program.
Responsibilities include:
* Delivering occupational therapy assessments and interventions to approximately 50 students, ages 3 to 18
* Collaborating with educators, families, and therapists to develop individualized treatment plans
* Managing a flexible caseload tailored to your experience level
* Working alongside another dedicated OT to ensure comprehensive care
* Serving 7 rural schools, one high school, a small school district, and regional preschool sites primarily focused on children aged 3-5 years
Qualifications:
* Active Occupational Therapy license in California
* Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
* Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Commitment to student-centered care and professional growth
This position runs immediately through the end of the 2025-2026 school year with potential extension into the 2026-2027 school year.
