Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available from April 16th to June 23rd, 2026, supporting an integrated preschool program serving children ages 3 to 5 in Cambridge, MA. This contract role focuses on providing therapeutic services and conducting evaluations for very young children within the school setting.
Key responsibilities include:
* Administering developmental and occupational therapy assessments for preschool-aged children, specifically ages 2.9 to 5 years.
* Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with each child’s needs and goals.
* Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress within an integrated preschool environment.
* Understanding and participating in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, including documentation and service delivery.
* Providing direct OT services to young children to enhance their functional skills and school participation.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
* Experience working as an Occupational Therapist with preschool-aged children, particularly in school or early intervention settings.
* Proficiency in conducting evaluations and testing for early childhood occupational therapy.
* Strong knowledge of the IEP process and related special education procedures.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with families and educational staff.
