Salary
Starting Hourly Rate: $55/hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
Bonus: $1,000 holiday bonus for candidates starting by December 19th
Additional Compensation: Non-taxable pay for clinicians living over 50 miles from the school
Job Description
E-Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver services to students in PreK-12 schools in Lompoc, California. The OT will design and implement individualized therapy programs, monitor student progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ success in both functional and academic areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
Develop individualized treatment plans and goals with input from students, parents, and school staff
Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions tailored to students’ needs
Monitor progress and adjust intervention plans as necessary
Provide consultation and support to teachers and school staff on strategies to promote participation and learning
Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to education planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and required paperwork
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
Experience providing occupational therapy services in school or pediatric settings
Proficiency in pediatric assessment tools and therapeutic techniques
Knowledge of sensory integration therapy, handwriting without tears, and other modalities preferred
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to engage with students physically and adapt therapy strategies as needed
