As thenMRI Technologist you will perform basic and complex MR imagingnprocedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require annin-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology,npharmacology and medical terminology. You will benexpected to support all imaging centers staffed by our organization. Younwill be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioningnand image acquisition/formation. You will be expected to support all imagingncenters staffed by our organization. You will also need to apply your knowledgenof magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior tonadmittance into the MR magnet room. You will:
- Ensure accurate processing ofnradiology orders
- Maintain accurate up-to-date recordsnof procedures performed
- Operate a variety ofnpost-processing/3D workstations
- Perform accurate image archival
- Prepare and administer paramagneticncontrast media
- Sensitively handle physical andnemotional needs of the patient
*Internalncandidates will be placed according to their Active/Current career laddernlevel*
SalarynRange: $52.22 – $68.84 Hourly
Qualifications

- Licenses
- A combination of the ARRT and CRT – required. MRn certificate required

OR you need
- n
- A combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) – required
- n

- n
- BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross –n required
- Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program –n required
- Venipuncture certificate – preferred
- AA or BS – preferred
- At least 1 year of MRI experience – preferred Â
- Siemens experience – preferred
- Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies
- Ability to identify contraindications for exams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and independentn decision-making skills
- Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes)
- Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology
- Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
- You will be required to rotate to all radiology sites staffedn by UCLA Health
