*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Doctor of Optometry to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive eye care services, perform thorough eye examinations, and develop personalized treatment plans to improve patients vision and overall eye health. *Duties*

* Conduct comprehensive eye examinations utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to assess visual acuity, refractive errors, and ocular health status.
* Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions, including ophthalmologic issues such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
* Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and other vision aids tailored to individual patient needs.
* Maintain detailed and accurate medical records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Educate patients on eye health, preventive care strategies, and proper use of prescribed treatments or corrective devices.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans involving pediatrics, ophthalmology specialists, or primary care providers.
* Stay current with advancements in treatment, medical terminology, physiology knowledge, and medical coding practices to deliver high-quality care.

*Qualifications*

* Valid state licensure as a Doctor of Optometry with active certification to practice.
* Proven experience in ophthalmology or optometry practice settings with strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the eye.
* Familiarity with optical experience including fitting lenses and contact lenses.
* Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to eye health and general medicine.
* Experience using EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient management.
* Strong customer service skills combined with sales acumen for recommending appropriate vision products.
* Understanding of HIPAA regulations ensuring patient confidentiality and data security.

Pay: $112,168.20 – $135,084.28 per year
