*Position Overview*
As a Certified Podiatrist, you will diagnose and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work in a supportive clinical environment that allows you to practice at the top of your license with full operational backing.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Evaluate, diagnose, and treat foot and ankle conditions
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
* Perform in-office podiatric procedures as appropriate
* Educate patients on preventive care and long-term foot health
* Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
* Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
* Adhere to all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards
*Requirements*
* Current certification to practice Podiatry in Nova Scotia.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner.
* Experience in pain management strategies tailored to foot and ankle conditions.
* Background in pediatrics is highly desirable for treating young patients effectively.
* Ability to deliver high-quality patient care with excellent communication skills.
* Experience with medication administration and data collection for clinical documentation or research purposes.
* Medical office experience is advantageous for managing outpatient services efficiently.
