*Job Summary*
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiac Sonographer to join our cardiovascular imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic imaging techniques, with a focus on delivering precise and detailed echocardiographic assessments. As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Cardiac Sonographer will perform advanced ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing and evaluating cardiac conditions and contributing to patient care within a dynamic clinical environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms to evaluate cardiac structure and function with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Collaborate closely with cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate diagnostic evaluations
* Maintain comprehensive documentation of imaging results, ensuring clarity for interpretation by physicians.
* Follow Policies and Procedures as set out by the institute and accreditation guidelines
* Demonstrate thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to cardiac imaging and diagnostics.
* Stay current with advancements in sonography technology and requirements of Accreditation Canada to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
*Qualifications*
* Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer
* Proven experience performing echocardiography with the use of image enhancing agents
* IV insertion skills preferred
* Familiarity with physiology principles, vital signs assessment, and aseptic techniques essential for invasive procedures.
* Comprehensive understanding of anatomy relevant to cardiac structures and pathology.
* Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
