Role Overview
Conduct physiotherapy assessments and deliver treatments for a specialised caseload, including patients with physical and psychological complexities.
Develop individualized therapeutic programmes.
Provide supervision, teaching, and appraisals to peers, physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants, students, and multidisciplinary team members.
Train patients, families, carers, and other staff to carry out care programmes.
Deputise and support the Clinical Team Leader in daily management.
Communicate effectively with patients, carers, agencies, and other disciplines, often sharing sensitive information.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential: Meets all essential criteria per the full Job Description / Person Specification.
Desirable: Welsh speaker.
Experience in a physiotherapy role, preferably Band 6 or equivalent.
Skills & Knowledge
Advanced physiotherapy assessment and treatment skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to supervise, train, and support staff and students.
Knowledge of multi-agency working and care planning.
Personal Qualities
Professional, patient-centered, and empathetic approach.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
