This Band 6 role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality MSK physiotherapy across hospital and community sites. The post includes supervision of undergraduate and rotational physiotherapists, leading exercise classes, participating in audits, and deputising for Team Leads.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-standard physiotherapy service in MSK
Work autonomously and manage own caseload
Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate physiotherapy services with Pathway and Team Leads
Supervise and mentor less experienced physiotherapy staff and students
Deputise for Team Leaders when required
Maintain accurate patient records (written and electronic)
Participate in out-of-hours and weekend orthopaedic work
Maintain professional competency and adhere to Trust standards
Support & Development:
In-service training plan to support clinical development
Coaching and mentoring opportunities
Shadowing and collaboration with Advanced Practice Physiotherapists
Links with Pelvic Health, Orthopaedics, Pain, and Respiratory teams
