BCHC is seeking a qualified, HCPC-registered Physiotherapist with experience in amputee rehabilitation to join their multidisciplinary team. You will work alongside Band 7 Physiotherapists, providing high-quality assessments and interventions to amputee patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide physiotherapy input to the Regional Prosthetic Service
Manage a caseload of amputee patients, including non-limb wearers and prosthetic users
Participate in interdisciplinary assessments, client-centred goal setting, and outcome measurement
Deliver physiotherapy treatments including early walking aids and gait training
Communicate effectively with local and regional physiotherapy departments regarding patient needs
Apply up-to-date, evidence-based clinical practices
Organise workload efficiently, prioritising tasks and time management
Candidate Requirements
HCPC-registered Physiotherapist
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, with some experience assessing complex disability
Experience in amputee rehabilitation
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients, carers, colleagues, and other agencies
Knowledge of current clinical trends and evidence-based practice
