CMAPS is a patient-centred, innovative MSK service providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation to adults in the Dudley community. The team includes physiotherapists, Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners (APPs), Clinical and Operational Leads, physiotherapy support workers, and administration staff.
As a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist, you will:
Perform comprehensive assessment of MSK patients within a health centre setting
Apply clinical reasoning to manage a varied caseload
Deliver MSK rehabilitation groups with peer and APP support
Use evidence-based treatment techniques across multiple MSK pathologies
Assist patients with pain management using skilled communication and various approaches
Participate in teaching, audits, and service evaluation
Support senior colleagues in developing the MSK service

Candidate Requirements
Experienced Band 6 MSK physiotherapist
Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills for MSK conditions
Competent in evidence-based MSK rehabilitation and pain management techniques
Enthusiastic about contributing to teaching, audits, and service development
Collaborative and patient-centred approach
