We are seeking a Bank Physiotherapist to join our Specialist Oncology AHP team at The Christie Private Care (TCPC), rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC. This role offers the chance to work with a clinically advanced, motivated, and compassionate team, delivering tailored in-patient and out-patient physiotherapy services to private patients.
You’ll work closely with a team including advanced physiotherapists, physiotherapy lead, bank physiotherapists, dietitians, and complementary therapists, with opportunities to develop skills in oncology physiotherapy and contribute to service development.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate and deliver individualized physiotherapy services to patients.
Provide support across multiple physiotherapy domains including surgery, cardiorespiratory, ITU/CCU, general medicine, neurology, and musculoskeletal care.
Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements
Essential:
HCPC registration
Physiotherapy degree or equivalent
Post-registration experience with cancer patients
Broad post-registration clinical experience across multiple areas of physiotherapy
Desirable:
Additional oncology training
Experience with breast or gynaecological cancer patients
Lymphoedema and scar therapy training/experience
Advanced communication skills
Experience in audit and/or research
Knowledge of cancer management and its impact
