Macquarie University Health Kids (MU Health Kids) is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced or emerging Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The Role

You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to babies, children, and adolescents presenting with:

• Complex neurological and musculoskeletal disabilities
• Hypermobility syndromes
• Genetic conditions
• Developmental delay
• Lower limb alignment concerns
• Atypical developmental patterns

You will work across outpatient and community settings, providing goal-directed assessment and intervention in a child- and family-centred model of care.
This position also provides opportunities to participate in:

• Potential clinical research projects within the broader Macquarie University Health network

About You

You are a skilled and caring Physiotherapist who demonstrates:

• Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration
• 1–2 years post-graduate experience providing physiotherapy to infants, children, or adolescents in outpatient and/or community settings
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, service development, and student education

Role Requirements

This position requires compliance with Macquarie University Health occupational screening and clearance protocols, including:

• Current AHPRA registration
• Working With Children Check
• National Criminal History Check
• Immunisation compliance
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
