Physical Therapist Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients, helping them regain mobility and improve their overall well-being. Key Responsibilities:
– Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses
– Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any concerns or changes to the supervising therapist
– Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed by the physical therapist
– Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to support ongoing recovery
– Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment
– Adhere to all safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure patient and staff safety
Skills and Qualifications:
– Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
– Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Missouri
– Proven experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
– Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
– Excellent organizational and time-management skills
