BB Recruitment is partnering with a leading not-for-profit community allied health provider to recruit Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Senior Occupational Therapists for NDIS and community-based roles across Perth Metropolitan Western Australia.

Occupational Therapist Roles – Perth & Albany

About the Roles

As an Occupational Therapist, you will deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to children, adults, and older clients with diverse and complex needs. Senior Occupational Therapist roles include clinical leadership, supervision, and service development responsibilities.

You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary allied health team, delivering services in the community, homes, and outreach settings.

Key Responsibilities

Occupational Therapy Clinical Duties

  • Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions across NDIS and community caseloads

  • Complete functional capacity assessments (FCA), Assistive Technology (AT) prescriptions, and home modification assessments

  • Support NDIS participants under the Improved Daily Living and related funding streams

  • Provide client-centred, goal-oriented therapy interventions

  • Prepare high-quality NDIS reports, progress notes, and clinical documentation

Senior Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to Occupational Therapists and students

  • Lead case reviews, reflective practice, and professional development activities

  • Support service development and quality improvement initiatives

  • Manage complex NDIS presentations using advanced clinical reasoning

Service Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage productivity and caseloads in a fee-for-service allied health model

  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, support coordinators, plan managers, and referrers

  • Contribute to service growth across Perth Metro

Occupational Therapist RequirementsEssential Criteria

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)

  • Current AHPRA registration – Occupational Therapist

  • Experience working as an NDIS Occupational Therapist

  • Strong skills in functional assessments, AT, and report writing

  • Ability to work autonomously in community settings

  • Excellent communication and time management skills

Additional Criteria – Senior OT Roles

  • Demonstrated experience supervising and mentoring clinicians

  • Leadership capability within community or NDIS settings

Desirable

  • Postgraduate qualifications or advanced practice experience

Compliance Requirements

  • National Police Clearance (within 6 months)

  • Working With Children Check

  • Current driver’s licence

  • Willingness to travel (regional travel applies to Albany roles)
