We are looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate on a 0.2 FTE bases, to be based in the Control Systems Group within the Wolfson School of Engineering, to support the EPSRC grant: Learning of safety critical model predictive controllers for autonomous systems (AutoMPC).
 Â
The AutoMPC project runs from May 2023 until November 2026 and develops methods for predictive motion control for autonomous vehicles. The Research Associate will implement model predictive control algorithms in e.g. MATLAB or PyTorch, and later collaborate with the University of Padova, Italy to deploy controllers to their prototype self-balancing electric bike.
