George Jeffrey Children’s Centre (GJCC) is a paediatric health facility in Thunder Bay, Ontario providing occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech-language pathology, social work, recreation, and behaviour support services to children and youth with physical, communication and developmental needs. GJCC is currently seeking a full-time Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) who is committed to providing high quality and compassionate services that honour the unique experiences of each and every individual served.
The RBA is responsible for the autonomous completion of functional behaviour assessments through formal and informal methods and the development and ongoing re-assessment of behaviour support plans. Responsibilities also include the clinical supervision of behaviour support services staff, assistance with program development, evaluation of new initiatives, and the provision of education and training for staff, families, caregivers and other members of the care-team. Occasional travel within the City and District of Thunder Bay is required.

*To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:*
* Registered Behaviour Analyst in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO);
* Master’s Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field;
* Advanced knowledge of ABA and its application for instructional methods in multiple environments including its application in ABA-based treatment;
* Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills;
* Minimum of two (2)- years experience working in a paediatric setting is an asset, experience with ASD diagnosis is preferred;
* Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team-member;
* Must hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to a personal vehicle.
