Job Title: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)Job Type: Part TimeSchedule: MondayThursday 8-4pm and Friday 8-12pm (no weekends/holidays)Location: (Amherst, NY)Pay Range:$30.00 $35.00 per hour, based on experience, credentials, and skill levelJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to join our established vascular practice. In this role, you will perform a wide range of non-invasive vascular ultrasound studies to support the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. This position is ideal for someone who values patient care, works efficiently, and is confident in their scanning abilities.Key Responsibilities:* Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations, including:* Upper and lower extremity venous duplex studies* Venous insufficiency (reflux) studies* Upper and lower extremity arterial studies with ABI (Ankle-Brachial Index)* Carotid duplex imaging* Abdominal aorta evaluations* Mesenteric artery Doppler studies* Renal artery Doppler studies* Arteriovenous (AV) dialysis fistula/graft evaluations* Accurately obtain, document, and label diagnostic images and measurements* Provide preliminary technical impressions for physician review* Ensure proper patient identification, obtain relevant history, and explain procedures clearly* Maintain patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout all exams* Assist physicians with occasional support during thrombin injections for pseudoaneurysms* Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to maintain efficient workflow* Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any issues promptly* Complete timely and accurate documentation in EMR/reporting systemsQualifications:* Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential required within 6-12 months of hire* Graduate of an diagnostic medical sonography program* Strong understanding of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology* Excellent scanning and Doppler skills* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications:* Experience in a vascular lab or specialty practice setting* Familiarity with reporting/EMR systems such as MedStreaming and MEDENT (preferred, not required)PART TIME POSITION* Health, dental, and vision insurance* Paid time off and holidays* Retirement plan options* Supportive, team-oriented work environmentWhy Join Us?* Established vascular practice with a strong patient base* Collaborative team of experienced providers and technologists* Opportunity to utilize and expand advanced vascular skills* Positive, patient-focused environment with consistent daytime schedulePay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Disability insurance* Family leave* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* License reimbursement* Paid sick time* Paid time off* Professional development assistance* Retirement plan* Vision insuranceWork Location: In personby Jobble
