Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based occupational therapy assistant is needed for a contract position in Renton, WA. This role focuses on providing support to students under the guidance of a licensed occupational therapist, helping them develop the skills necessary for success in the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in implementing occupational therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
* Support students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
* Collaborate with licensed occupational therapists, teachers, and school staff to modify activities and environments to accommodate student abilities
* Document student progress and communicate effectively with the therapy team and families

Qualifications:
* Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
* Experience working with school-age children preferred
