Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT / OTR / OTD) to provide pediatric home health services. In this role, you will evaluate children, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver engaging therapy to help children improve their functional skills and independence in daily activities.
This position offers clinical autonomy, scheduling flexibility, and strong leadership support, allowing you to focus on providing excellent care to pediatric clients and their families.
Schedule Options: Full-Time (25 sessions/week) and Part-Time (12 sessions/week) positions available.
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable therapy goals
• Provide engaging, play-based therapy sessions in the home setting
• Address areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care skills, visual motor integration, and functional independence
• Educate caregivers on strategies to support progress and skill development at home
• Document therapy sessions and client progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members
• Supervise and support COTAs in accordance with state regulations (if applicable)
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, payer requirements, and company policies
Qualifications
• Active Arizona Occupational Therapist License
• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy
• NBCOT Certification preferred
• Current CPR Certification
• Article 9 Certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently in a home health setting
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
