Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support elementary-aged students in a school setting. This contract position is based in Van Nuys, CA, with a caseload focused exclusively on elementary students. The role offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, working onsite from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:

* Provide occupational therapy services to elementary students with diverse needs.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student growth.
* Collaborate closely with school staff and families to promote student success.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to the school’s therapeutic environment.

Qualifications:

* Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in California is required.
* Previous experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting is essential.
* Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, educators, and families.
* Ability to manage an elementary caseload independently and efficiently.
* Reliable and punctual with a commitment to onsite work.
