Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in school-based services, located in Hartford, CT. This role focuses on supporting students with gross motor skill development and compensatory services within an elementary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:

* Provide physical therapy services targeted toward gross motor skill improvement.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with limited mobility.
* Assist students using standers and other mobility aids to enhance functional independence.
* Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the school environment.
* Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based therapy services.
* Familiarity with interventions for gross motor skill development and compensatory techniques.
* Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged children, particularly those with mobility challenges.
* Strong communication skills to coordinate with educational teams and families.

Schedule and Location:

* Full-time position, 35 hours per week.
* Based in Hartford, CT, within an elementary school setting.
