Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity involves providing physical therapy services in an elementary school setting, focused on enhancing gross motor skills and offering compensatory services to support students with limited mobility. The role is based in West Hartford, CT, and is a full-time contract position requiring 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:

* Delivering physical therapy interventions tailored to an elementary school caseload.
* Implementing gross motor skills development programs.
* Assisting students with limited mobility to increase their independence and functional abilities.
* Providing services that include time in a stander for appropriate students.
* Collaborating with school staff and families to develop and monitor individualized therapy plans.
