Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Occupational Therapist is needed for a contract position supporting cross-categorical students across multiple itinerant school sites within Riverside, CA. This role begins in August 2026 and continues through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, working full-time hours (40 hours per week, 5 days per week).
Responsibilities:
* Provide occupational therapy services to students across diverse age groups within the states caseload requirements
* Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student development and success
* Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document therapy progress in accordance with school policies
* Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of students in various school environments
Qualifications:
* Current Occupational Therapy license valid in California is required
* Experience in school-based occupational therapy is highly preferred
* Strong ability to manage caseloads within state guidelines and work as an itinerant therapist
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential
