Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support K-12 students in a school setting within a county-wide service area in Florida.
Responsibilities:

* Provide occupational therapy services to students across various school locations within the county, serving both sides of the district.
* Collaborate with school staff and therapists to implement individualized treatment plans.
* Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school and state guidelines.
* Adapt to changes as school site assignments may be updated during the summer.
* Travel throughout the entire county to deliver services as required.

Qualifications:

* Valid Florida COTA license.
* Experience working in school-based occupational therapy, preferably K-12 settings.
* Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the county.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
* Commitment to professional standards and timely documentation.
