Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Physical Therapist position is available to provide on-site therapy services within multiple schools in the Clermont, FL area. This role focuses on supporting elementary and charter schools with student caseloads spanning early childhood to school-age populations. The position runs through late May 2026 and offers an opportunity to work closely within a school environment, assisting students with physical therapy needs to help enhance their functional abilities in educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver physical therapy services to students across assigned schools, tailoring interventions to individual needs.
* Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement therapy plans.
* Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and comply with district procedural guidelines.
* Participate in the districts onboarding and credentialing process.
* Manage a caseload of approximately 100 students distributed across several schools.
* Support each school alongside an additional Physical Therapist to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Valid professional Physical Therapy license required.
* Prior school-based physical therapy experience is preferred but not mandatory.
* Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours/week) with an 8-hour workday plus a 30-minute unpaid break.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work within school teams.
* Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites within the district.
