Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to support multiple schools within a Florida school district. This full-time, contract position is based in the Apopka area and involves providing school-based physical therapy services across several elementary and charter schools.
Responsibilities:

* Provide physical therapy services to a caseload of approximately 100 students across multiple school sites, including elementary and charter schools.
* Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs.
* Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district onboarding and procedural requirements.
* Participate in district-led credentialing and onboarding processes, including completion of required forms and timesheets.
* Support a rotating schedule covering sites such as Umatilla Elementary, Spring Creek Charter, Sorrento Elementary, and others.
* Work an 8-hour day with a 30-minute unpaid break, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications:

* Licensed Physical Therapist required.
* Prior experience in school-based physical therapy preferred but not mandatory.
* Ability to manage multiple school assignments efficiently.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Completion of a prescreen internal eligibility interview.
* Flexibility to participate in onboarding and training as required by the district.

Location:

* Work primarily on-site within the Lake County public school system; schools located in Tavares, FL and nearby areas.
