*Position Summary*
We are seeking a licensed *Occupational Therapist (OT)* to join our rehabilitation team on a *part-time basis*. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to skilled nursing residents, focusing on functional outcomes, daily living skills, and overall well-being.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Provide direct OT interventions to residents in the skilled nursing setting.
* Assess and address barriers to daily living activities (ADLs), mobility, cognition, and functional performance.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, PT, SLP, social work) to coordinate resident care.
* Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy goals and strategies.
* Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure compliance with professional, regulatory, and facility standards.
*Qualifications*
* Current and active *Occupational Therapist license in the State of Florida*.
* Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (Masters or Doctorate preferred).
* Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, inpatient rehab, or similar setting is preferred.
* Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
*Schedule*
* Part-Time hours (flexible schedules, e.g., 1624 hours/week).
* Some PRN coverage may be available based on facility needs.
