Bridger Orthopedic & Sports Medicine is a physician-owned orthopedic practice in Bozeman, Montana. Our outpatient therapy department is fully integrated with *three fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeons*, creating a high-volume, collaborative hand/UE program. Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, motivated *Hand Therapist (OT or PT)* to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role focuses on upper extremity evaluation and treatment, post-operative rehabilitation, orthosis fabrication, and return-to-function care. The ideal candidate is confident managing a specialized hand/UE caseload and enjoys working closely with surgeons.
What Youll Do
* Evaluate and treat patients with conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder
* Provide post-operative rehabilitation in close coordination with hand/UE surgeons
* Fabricate custom orthoses and provide splinting as indicated
* Develop individualized plans of care emphasizing function and outcomes
* Educate patients and families on conditions, precautions, and home programs
* Document efficiently and accurately in the EMR
* Participate in team meetings and clinical collaboration
Caseload Highlights
* Post-surgical hand and upper extremity rehabilitation
* Fractures, tendon repairs, joint replacements, nerve injuries, arthroscopy
* Conservative management of complex UE diagnoses

Qualifications
*Required:*
* Licensed OT or PT in Montana (or ability to obtain license)
* *Minimum of 3 years outpatient orthopedic experience in hand therapy*
* Strong competency in upper extremity rehabilitation and post-op protocols
* Skilled in custom orthosis fabrication/splinting
* Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
*Preferred:*
* *Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)*
* Experience working directly with hand/UE surgeons
* Interest in helping grow and refine a high-quality hand therapy program
