Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our womens-only spa in Fairmont, NY. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about helping clients achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness through therapeutic massage. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology to ensure safe, effective, and customized treatments for each client.
Due to the nature of our womens-only facility, female applicants only will be considered.
Responsibilities
* Perform a variety of massage techniques, including but not limited to:
* Deep tissue massage
* Trigger point therapy
* Relaxation and therapeutic massage
* Assess clients needs and tailor treatments accordingly
* Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology to provide safe and effective care
* Educate clients on treatment benefits, aftercare, and wellness recommendations
* Maintain a clean, calm, and professional treatment environment
* Uphold all spa policies, hygiene standards, and safety protocols
* Provide exceptional customer service and foster a welcoming, supportive atmosphere
* Work professionally and respectfully with clients from diverse backgrounds
Qualifications
* Valid New York State Massage Therapist License (required)
* Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic massage techniques
* Experience with deep tissue and trigger point therapy preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Professional demeanor with a client-centered approach
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
