As the MRInTechnologist you will perform basic and complex MR imagingnprocedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require annin-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology,npharmacology and medical terminology. You will benexpected to support all imaging centers staffed by our organization. Younwill be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioningnand image acquisition/formation. You will be expected to support all imagingncenters staffed by our organization. You will also need to apply your knowledgenof magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior tonadmittance into the MR magnet room. You will:

- Ensuren accurate processing of radiology orders
- Maintainn accurate up-to-date records of procedures performed
- Operaten a variety of post-processing/3D workstations
- Performn accurate image archival
- Preparen and administer paramagnetic contrast media
- Sensitivelyn handle physical and emotional needs of the patient

SalarynRange: $52.22 – $68.84 Hourly
Qualifications
Pleasenensure your resume and application includes all relevant certifications andnlicenses.

- Licenses
- A combination of the ARRT andn CRT – required. MR certificate required

OR you need
- n
- An combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) – required
- BCLS from American Heartn Association or American Red Cross – required
- Graduate from a AMA Radiologicn Technologist Program – required
- Venipuncturen certificate – preferred
- AAn or BS – preferred
- Atn least 1 year of MRI experience – preferred Â
- Siemens experience – preferred
- Ability to adapt to advancements andn changing technologies
- Ability to identify contraindications forn exams
- Excellent communication, interpersonaln and independent decision-making skills
- Familiarity with clinical billing (IDXn codes)
- Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology
- Strong attention to detail andn multi-tasking abilities
- Youn will be required to rotate to all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health
