*Overview*
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our healthcare team. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a nursing home environment. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in geriatrics, with proficiency in medical documentation and patient assessment. *Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, anatomy, physiology, and medical history review
* Administer medications and injections following prescribed protocols
* Conduct venipuncture and IV insertions with precision and care
* Document all patient interactions accurately within EMR/EHR systems in accordance with medical records standards
* Monitor patient condition continuously and respond promptly to changes in status
* Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures while maintaining a safe environment
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
* Support infection control practices and adhere to safety protocols in trauma centers, emergency rooms, surgical units, or outpatient clinics
* Maintain proficiency in basic life support (BLS) procedures and emergency response techniques
*Experience*
* Experience in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care settings highly desirable
* Background working with infectious disease care, Geriatrics, or post-acute/sub-acute care environments is advantageous
* Proven ability to operate EMR/EHR systems efficiently for medical documentation and record keeping
* Demonstrated competence in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and anatomy/physiology knowledge
* Experience administering injections, performing venipuncture, and managing complex medical records is required
* Familiarity with outpatient clinics or school health experience is a plus
* This role requires licensed nursing professionals committed to delivering compassionate patient-centered care while adhering to the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
*Educational Requirements:* Candidate Must be certified in the state of Nebraska as a RN/LPN. The competitive pay range for this position is *RN- up to $52.00/hr* and *LPN – up to $35.00/hr.* Consideration will be made commensurate with experience.
